Critical analysis of the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with breast cancer accompanied in a Mastology service of the Distrito Federal

Abstract

Objective: To analyze the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with breast cancer of the Mastology service from Hospital Regional de Taguatinga - HRT and check the adequacy to the recommendations and the epidemiological aspects of the study population. Methods: Cross-sectional Observational study conducted in the period of 01/01/2009 to 31 /12/2011 . Data Collection in books of record of surgeries, review of medical records and interview. Statistical Analysis by the program IBM/SPSS v. 18.0.
