The increase of breast cancer survival rates led to a rise in the prevalence of after-effects related to the treatment. Thus, knowledge and evaluation of the major sequels, i.e., lymphedema, changes in sensation, shoulder mobility, strength and cosmesis, should be added to the clinical practice. This fact leads to a new approach to patients, with the necessity of attention to these sequels, seeking forms of rehabilitation, improvement of cosmetic results and the quality of life. This article summarizes the main methods of assessment of the sequels related to breast cancer treatment.
